TESTIMONIALS

This experience seriously challenges one and the rest of one’s team, in a “ real-life, non-business“ environment in terms of ability and willingness to change, comfort zone, values, work ethic, use of resources, adaptability, flexibility, creativity, attention to detail and true leadership qualities. It strips and exposes one of all the veneer and accentuates the abilities which are also needed in the normal working environment - but which is not always fully realised. It exposes the real core, moral values and leadership qualities.

Unlike many other team interventions and several months after the event, we are still experiencing the benefits and effects of being confronted with the real “us“. This was a unique experience of personal value and benefit which stands out above other previous interventions and in which new “Bush Craft Skills “ were acquired which are equally applicable to many other aspects of one’s life .

I highly recommend this experience if you really and honestly want to know yourself and your team.

Hi Andreas!

I don't think there are words to express my thanks to you, Dieter, Foreman, Elias and the rest of the team that prepared and executed our "bush experience".   For me, having that experience as a "welcome to Africa" was pretty much an out-of-this-world experience.   For the team and our team dynamics, communications, tolerance and understanding was simply incredible.   You have no idea how much that helped us.

Best regards and keep in touch!

Kattia Fernandez, Chiquita Brands International

Dear Bateleur Guides & Staff,

Over the past few days I have learned & experienced a number of new and wonderful things that have made this part of South Africa a beautiful & unforgettable place. Through all of your guidance, engaging and thought-provoking teachings and generous sharing of your expertise, I have developed a profound respect and appreciation for all the wonder, danger, mystery and even controversy that the involvement in and sustainable management of such an environment can hold. I can not thank you enough for giving me the experience of a lifetime.

Marissa Knodel – Student, Dartmouth College, USA

Good day Andreas,

I hope you're well and you enjoyed the course with us.

As you know, I love Africa very much and I always enjoy to stay there.  The time I spent following your course, Andreas, is definitely one of the period of my life I'll never forget. I fully lived every single second of that week.

So, thank you very much indeed for everything you teach me, not only about bush skill.

I gave your regards to Davide, who is very happy we enjoyed the course.

Please, keep me informed, since I'd like to do something more.

Hope to see you soon,

My best regards!

Gianni Bauce, Italy

Hi Andreas!

The rest of the trip was great. We loved the Serengeti as well, but I must say, I enjoyed Bateleur the best.

I did go by and give the brochures to my agent. He has added you to his repertoire, and is considering getting a group together to visit. I have several friends now interested in going to Africa, and I will send them your way....and I hope to come back sooner rather than later.

Did I tell you that my wife and son's climbing guide on Kilimanjaro was a former Dartmouth student that was at Bateleur?? Small world, huh? Her name is Lindsay Reither, and she was awesome. I met her after the climb. She remembers you well, and loved her time at Bateleur.

Thanks again to you...and your entire GRACIOUS staff. It was a memorable experience that I hope to do again.

Hi Melina,

Thank you for one of the most profound experiences of our lives! Not only was the safari lovely but all the people we had the opportunity to meet and get to know, You both, Dieter and Sheryl and all the wonderful staff. Say hello and give them our best and tell them that we miss them. Sitting at work it's easy to go into daydream-mode and return to the bush again!

I also would like to state once again that you are more than welcome to visit Sweden, just let us know in advance so we can hire some staff

;-). Give Andreas a big hug from us.

Best regards, Anders & Erika Nilsson, Sweden

Hi Melina,

I can just say that our stay at Bateleur was by far the best thing we did on our trip through SA. You guys were the best and I honestly hope that we meet soon again. You are more than welcome to visit us in Sweden. Take care and give my best regards to Andreas.

Per Berggren & Gabriella Rosberg, Sweden

My time at Bateleur was the best stop on our busy tour.  For my part, I could have stayed there the entire trip.  I was despondent having to leave.  Great service and food. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I slept the best at your place.  The game and terrain seemed endlessly intriguing. I will return when and if possible for a long visit.

I forgot to mention how impressed I was with the knowledge and expertise of Andreas and L.D.  I learned a lot.

Thanks,

Paul Anderson, USA
